As part of Trinity Presbyterian’s Second Tuesday Concert Series, the CCP will perform on December 8th.
A dessert reception follows the concert, and is included in the ticket price.

Dmitri Shostakovich and Sergei Prokofiev were two of the most prolific and important Russian composers in the 20th century. Both composers made very different choices about their lives, countries of residence, and careers. The two composers were friends and colleagues, and developed their own unique musical styles, coming out of the same Russian tradition.
Featured on the program is Prokofiev’s exuberant Quintet in g minor, originally commissioned for a small ballet company in Paris.
