Raisins and Almonds is a memorable event presented by the Colorado Hebrew Chorale and its women’s choir, Kol Nashim. The program includes a silent auction, vendor marketplace, horss nd’ouevres, wine tasting and a special concert performance by both choirs in recognition of International Holocaust Awareness Day. Special recognition will be given to child Holocaust survivor Estelle Nadel. Guest artists include Cantor Asa Fradkin of Bethesda, MD and local composer, M. Susan Brown. Kol Nashim will premiere a piece by Ms. Brown based upon text by Jewish heroine Hannah Szenes. A festive dinner and more musical entertainment follows the concert.
