Rocky Mountain Arts Association

Rocky Mountain Arts Association is home to the Denver Gay Men's Chorus, Mosaic Youth Chorus and Out Loud: The Colorado Springs Men's Chorus.

With a mission of building community through music, the members of Rocky Mountain Arts Association join together as an organization in efforts to make an artistic statement: the Choruses, as they sing, provide educational, cultural and social enrichment for its audiences and members, and identifies as an organization of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) people and supporters that is actively making a positive contribution to the entire community.

Rocky Mountain Arts Association (RMAA) was founded in 1982 by a group of gay men who sought artistic expression and wanted a place to gather socially and safely. Its first chorus, the Denver Gay Men's Chorus was the first arts program in Colorado to use "gay" in its name.

In 2006, Out Loud: The Colorado Springs Men's Chorus was formed as the first gay men's chorus in the Pikes Peak region. In August 2007, RMAA launched a third chorus, Mosaic Youth Chorus, for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth and their straight allies, ages 14 to 20.

Celebrating its 26th year in 2008, with three choruses and over 160 singers, RMAA has performed over 300 concerts in 12 states and two countries, to audiences of over one million people.
