Ballet Ariel: Carnaval and Sleeping Beauty’s Dream, at DL Parsons

Ballet Ariel opens its 24^th season with the 1910 masterpiece Carnaval, a light and romantic ballet choreographed by Michel Fokine. Considered one of the great ballet choreographers, Fokine’s Carnaval is based on the piano suite of the same name by Robert Schumann. Also on the program is Ballet Ariel’s enchanting original ballet, Sleeping Beauty’s Dream. October 16th at DL Parsons Theatre.
