“Un-Still Life” is a collective expression inspired by a central theme, exploring the transforming impulse of a moving still life and how color has the potential to access the complete range of our senses. The magic of a still life (in visual art) is that they show us a new way of looking at ordinary objects – the ordinary takes on personal and philosophical meaning.  3rd Law Dance/Theater ventures into a new realm for this performance, as company members join artistic director Katie Elliott to create a cohesive performance of diverse choreographic perspectives. Together they build a platform for emerging and seasoned artists to support each other in an evening of original dance/theater.
