The Earthquake Mass: Music of the Renaissance

The colossal “Earthquake Mass” by French composer Antoine Brumel is a rare and astounding choral composition for 12 distinct voices, called “one of the most breathtaking outbursts of the Renaissance imagination” by the arts critic at The Independent. Ars Nova Singers celebrates this vibrant music in three performances in the Denver/Boulder area, along with four other choral works, and featuring Ann Marie Morgan on viola da gamba.
