Close Encounters of Science and Art

An event every week that begins at 9:00 am on Saturday, repeating until January 28, 2017
Ages 7-14yrs, $15/each or $40/all three sessions
Come engage both sides of your brain as you learn about science while depicting those topics through unique, artistic creations. Instructor: Dave Sullivan. Register in advance.
Week 1 – Flesh on the Bones – Build a dinosaur by using a skeleton model and clay.
Week 2 – Paint Like a Caveman – Learn about paleo animal art and create your own.
Week 3 – ‘Snow What?’ – Draw snowy owls, polar bears, arctic foxes and other wintery wildlife.
