All Ages, Free Meet in Olde Town Square. Fifty years ago in July 1969, the astronauts of Apollo 11 were the first humans to set foot on the moon. To celebrate this historic event with the Arvada Library, drop anytime between 8pm and 10pm for some telescope viewing of our beautiful celestial neighbor.

First Thursday and Third Tuesday at 10 a.m. (No Drop in on July 4th) All ages, Free. Investigate the amazing natural world in and around the Nature Center.  Explore different themes with activities, books, puzzles, crafts, and other interactive displays.  No need to sign up for this program, just swing by and enjoy!

Ages 13+, $5 Join a Q&A panel of CSU Master Gardeners to ask any mid-season questions about your garden or lawn. Are you watering too much? Do you have insects? How to get rid of those invasive weeds? Bring in pictures or whatever you need so CSU Master Gardeners can help solve your garden worries.

All ages, $5/person, $15/family Gold, gold, gold!  That long-ago newspaper headlined a time when Colorado was one of America's greatest fortune-seeking destinations. Discover some fun facts about gold and hear some of those gold tales (true or not?) around the campfire as you roast marshmallows.

Ages 4-14, $3/person Maps and clues, and a few surprises too! Let's go on a treasure hunt through the Majestic View Park. Find the treasure and take home a prize or just have fun on an adventure. Dress for the weather.

All ages, Free The beautiful planets of Saturn and Jupiter will be up in the night sky. Join us for telescope viewing and some marshmallow roasting at the Nature Center.
