Join us as Steinway Artist Hsing-ay Hsu brings us a Musical Valentine!
Enjoy the inspired works of four unique voices from the classical canon of piano repertoire. Begin with the pure logic and perfect proportions of Bach’s counterpoint, dance with Bernstein, sigh with Grieg, and soar over the moon with Brahms’ luscious intervals.
Program will include:
J.S. Bach: Partita No. 1 in B-flat Major
Bernstein: Excerpt from “The Masque” from The Age of Anxiety
Grieg: “To Spring” from Lyric Pieces, Opus 43, No. 6
Brahms: Variations Opus 21, No. 1 in D Major
There will be a meet and greet reception following the concert.
