Walking With Nature

2nd Wednesday of the summer months. Gather at 6:15 p.m., start at 6:30 p.m. All ages, $3/person, $9/family.
August 9, Ralston Creek Trail/Shadow Mountain Park
Meet at the Arvada Skate Park, 12920 West 72nd Avenue
Join Arvada native, Dean Bernard, on a walk along one of Arvada’s 150 miles of trails. Adults and children will enjoy walking at a casual pace lasting 1- 1 ½ hours. Dean has lots of stories about the history of the area. We will be watching and learning about the urban wildlife that we might run across. Dress for the weather and be sure to bring water. Pre-register so that we have a way of contacting you in case the walk needs to be rescheduled because of weather.
