Colorado Chamber Players welcomes back Amy Frost Baumgarten, Principal Cellist of the Kennedy Center Opera Orchestra, and Mary Cowell, 3rd Chair Violist with Colorado Symphony, in a wonderful sextet program with music by Johannes Brahms (G major sextet op. 36) and Ching-Chu Hu (Spheres of Influence). Amy and Beth Vanderborgh will perform a world premiere of a Cello Duo written by Gwyneth Walker especially for these concerts, entitled Of Cliffs and Sacred Spaces, inspired by the Vedauwoo rock formations in Eastern Wyoming.
