Jefferson Symphony Orchestra: 70th Season Opener

Jefferson Symphony welcomes you to the opening concert of our 70th anniversary season…a platinum celebration! Our first concert presents an exhilarating, symphonic season premiere. Guest conductor Maurice Cohn leads the symphony with Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man and Bela Bartok’s Concerto for Orchestra. Internationally acclaimed artist Masakazu Ito returns to our concert hall for a performance of Joaquin Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez. With Maurice Cohn, conductor; Bridget Gibson, concertmaster; Masakazu Ito, guitar.
