Musical Wanderings: Songs of Pilgrimage

The road to Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain has been trodden by pilgrims from the Middle Ages to the present day, inspiring deeply spiritual outpourings of music. St. Martin’s concentrates on the Medieval and Renaissance Spanish music of this tradition, including from the 12th century Codex Calixtinus.
